Beginning her career as a child actor, including the 1975 Rod Steiger movie Hennessy, Patsy Kensit, now 55, gained attention in a string of commercials for Birds Eye frozen peas. Who would have thought that just a few years later, the blonde bombshell would become lead singer of a pop band, Eighth Wonder, in the Eighties – and in more recent years, go on to become an actress and successful soap star– including roles in Emmerdale and more recently, EastEnders, as Lola Pearce’s mum. In 1993 she had her first son, James, with then hubby, Simple Minds frontman Jim Kerr, and in 1997, re-married – this time to Oasis singer Liam Gallagher, 50, with whom she shares a son, Lennon, 22.
