Lundy is a magnet for birds and birdwatchers, as well as being one of the most important islands for breeding seabirds in England, with 35 regular breeding species. A new set of stamps, released on 13 May, celebrates that diversity. The issue comprises five stamps, three landscape and two portrait, beautifully designed by North Devon artist Sharon Read in collaboration with Lars Liwendahl. The featured birds are Water Rail, Wheatear, Puffin, Manx Shearwater and Peregrine. A presentation pack and a first day cover are also available.
