Every time the Jamison kids come home from school, they pile into a foyer gleaming in graphic gray, white, and black—a room they helped transform into the modern masterpiece it is today.
Gwyn, age 11, Henry, 9, and Betsy, 7, sprayed and scraped off the shiny green wallpaper that once adorned the space. They also hauled old floor tiles and cabinets to the trash.
“The entire family helped,” says Lindsey Jamison, the kids’ mom and an interior designer. “We’ve done remodels before, but this time, the kids were old enough to be put to work!”
And there was plenty of work to go around. Lindsey and husband Josh knew the Casper, Wyoming, house would require a major overhaul as soon as they saw it—the 100-year-old home had not been updated…
