BEEF PRICES MIXED
International: New Zealand steers traded 1,15% lower at NZ$514/head and cows traded 0,78% lower at NZ$383/head. US prices were mostly higher: topside was 1,13% higher at US$207,48/cwt, rump was 4,78% lower at US$292,60/cwt, strip loin was 2,82% higher at US$623,67/cwt, chuck 5,95% lower at US$199,53/cwt, and brisket 10,64% higher at US$260,79/cwt.US prices were stable as a result of good seasonal demand and restricted supply from Australia, due to restocking.
Domestic: Class A was 0,46% lower at R38,61/kg and Class C was 0,69% higher at R29,10/kg. The weaner price was 1,41% lower at R19,56/kg. The hide price was 0,47% higher at R15,08/kg.
