“We love a good natter with soap producers” As much as we love talking to the stars, one of our favourite times of the year is when we get the chance to have a good natter with the people who know everything about the characters, the plots and the secrets regarding what’s happening next – the producers of the soaps. So we were delighted when Corrie’s Kate Oates got on the phone to talk all things Weatherfield. An old mate of Inside Soap’s from her days at Emmerdale, Kate loves her work and talks about it at length to anyone who’ll listen – so much so that she’s ended up filling six whole pages of this magazine with her goss on Weatherfield life.
