Located on the former hunting grounds of Ernest Hemingway, this is the only permanent lounge within the Lake Manyara National Park (330 km2 ) has the easternmost location out of all lodges in the south-east area, which means that guests here enjoy a privileged spot from which they can observe all kinds of wildlife. The cab left me in front of a large iron gate. With my suitcase entrusted to a pair of robust hands, I began heading up paved walkway towards the hotel. Above me, the houses of Eze carefully balance themselves on the hillside. Below me, a splendid terraced garden littered with flowers, sculptures and fountains.
