This is the first time I’ve been compelled to write to an editor – I guess it’s still a bit of a touchy topic. I read your January interview with Amanda Gillies, on fertility, with interest and a wry smile. The things people say if you’re childless are never-ending and astounding – the comments, the assumptions (it must be you, not him). Being generous, you hope they’re just not thinking straight.
