LINDA: While the world outside might be wintry gray, the world within the pages of this issue of Quilts and More™ magazine is bright and filled with color! JODY: Yes, color is actually the theme of this issue! The throw With Flying Colors explodes with a rainbow of solids on page 60. We also are partnering with our sister publication American Patchwork & Quilting® magazine and our website HowToSew.com to offer four different projects with a plus-signinspired motif. We invite readers to pick any of the four projects and quilt along with us. One of the projects, Easy Addition on page 26, is fat-quarter-friendly. I’ve already dreamed up several color options and hope you will join us in the fun. LINDA: I can’t wait to see all the exciting color combinations everyone…

FABRICS: Strawberry Fields Revisited collection by Fig Tree & Co. for Moda Fabrics (modafabrics.com). Choose a focus fabric first, then select prints based on the colors in the focus fabric. A random placement of the dark prints complements the swirling florals in the light focus fabric and keeps the eye moving around the block. FABRICS: Fantasia collection for Paintbrush Studio (fabri-quilt.com). A blast from the past. Romantic, muted florals in various scales were popular during the 19th century.
