We’ve got dirt on the mind and with this issue; we celebrate the vehicles that can kick plenty of it up. There’s something fun about a go anywhere vehicle whether it’s a crawler, monster truck or even rally racer. In this issue, we dive into all three. The cover truck is a new release from Axial that celebrates the legacy of the Ford Bronco. You’ll want to read about all its details and how John Cena (or at least his action figure) fits into the equation. We also meet the monster that is the 8S powered Arrma Kraton. If you’re looking for the ultimate basher, we just might have found it. Racing around on the back roads is always fun, especially in a street legal WRC car. Tamiya’s 1998 Ford Escort replicates…

showstopper b.c.a. build

Gordon built this ‘87 extra cab as a Breast Cancer Awareness build. The project took him eight months down to the day to finish before he left for the RC4WD Scale Nationals in Las Vegas. He entered it in the concourse and Class 1 division. Even though he wasn’t able to run it before Nationals, Gordon still placed 34th out of 78 drivers on a very tough day of crawling. That’s a solid result for being its first run. Even better, Gordon won Best interior and Best In Show in the concourse competition! Congrats Gordon, it’s a great looking rig. marking the end of an era

As a child, Israel vividly remembers his dad driving him around in his 70s-era Chevy Blazer. Back then, the Blazer gave him an impression that it was a gigantic playground whenever he climbed into the back of the truck. The Blazer is a source of some great memories for Israel, who says, “I wanted to recreate the nostalgic feeling of the end of an era. Where the great looking cars from the 70’s evolved to the new technologies and all its nuances that came with it, (fuel injection and computers). I was able to find the exact model of wheels and tires as I remember them from my childhood for my Blazer build. Chrome with center caps and BFGoodrich T/A All-Terrain tires.” The truck sure looks nostalgic to us, it…

Michael’s rig started out as an Axial SMT10 Raw Builder’s Kit that is fitted with a JConcepts 79 F250 Ranger body. Watch out, its JConcepts Fling King 2.6 mud tires on Dragon 2.6 wheels set up is sure to fling plenty of mud!
