holiday Inn is my absolute favorite holiday movie. Ask my kids. They’ll recite lines. I’ve watched it with my oldest sister as long as I can remember. Over Thanksgiving weekend, we’d check the TV Guide to see when WGN Channel 9 Chicago would air this toe-tapping Christmas classic starring Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire. Fun fact: It’s this movie that introduced Crosby’s wistful “White Christmas” in 1942. The song didn’t debut in the later namesake film. True! Google it.
