I love everything about summer: the beach, the radiant sunlight, the long days, and running barefoot in the grass. My family and I ride bikes, snag crabs, fish, Jet Ski, swim, doze in hammocks, and listen for the sound of cicadas at night. And the food is incredible: corn, tomatoes, lobster, clams, watermelon, peaches, blueberries, cherries, and figs. It’s a season for gathering with friends and family for a picnic, a backyard barbecue, or a clambake.
