tailor made

Christmas is the perfect time to impress, and we can’t think of a better way to earn pride of place on the mantelpiece this year than with Hazel’s creative tuxedo fold designs. You’ll need to use the templates on page 89 to create the shape and folds for your base, then you can really go to town decorating the card with your favourite papers and embellishments. Hazel picked Heffy Doodle’s festive stamps and dies for her creations, and teamed them with colourful patterned papers to give her tuxedos a modern vibe. But you could opt for classic Christmas papers for a more traditional look, or even dress your card as an actual tuxedo and customise it for someone special! While these cards look intricate, they’re actually fairly easy to create using a…

dear hayley

“I love hearing your crafting stories and seeing your wonderful cards, so please write in and share them with me!” Editor Puppy perfection Our beautiful Labrador, Barley, recently gave birth to nine healthy puppies by caesarean. Our puppy journey has been a roller coaster of highs and lows and our vet and his team have been invaluable with their consistent care, support and advice from day one of conception through to the aftercare of Barley and her pups. As a small token of thanks, I was compelled to make them a thank you card that depicts our journey. Mum and Dad (of which we own both) are in the top-left corner, watching over their nine pups, with their different-coloured leads to help tell them apart. I am delighted to say that Barley and…
