They’re moving fast. “Time flies,” Adele wrote on Instagram on May 11, sharing a slideshow of photos of herself with her 40-year-old sports agent beau of more than a year, Rich Paul. In one snap, they hold up keys in front of her new $58 million Beverly Hills mansion.

Now they’re quickly taking the next steps. “Adele and Rich are getting married, and friends also think she’s expecting,” a source tells In Touch of the singer, 34, who abruptly canceled her Las Vegas residency earlier this year. (Adele blamed COVID for delaying the show’s production.) “She still hasn’t rescheduled it because she’s going to take a step back from the spotlight to focus on all of these big changes in her personal life. This is her year!”

The news comes on the heels of breakup rumors. “That’s part of why she posted on Instagram. They’re super private, but she’s madly in love with Rich,” says the source, noting that Adele also didn’t deny she was engaged when she was seen with a sparkler on her left ring finger in February. “She didn’t hesitate to accept his proposal.”

Now she’s got a wedding to organize. “They haven’t set a date yet, but it’ll likely be in the fall,” says the source, who expects the guest list to be studded with stars, including LeBron James, Jennifer Lawrence, Jay-Z and Beyoncé, and Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom. And since Adele loves “fancy-dress” costume parties like the Titanic -themed bash she threw for her 30th birthday, “she also wants the wedding to be themed — maybe ’80s,” says the source. “They’ll probably have it in their new backyard — they’ve got 3.5 acres!”

There’s plenty of room for a growing family. Adele, who shares Angelo, 9, with ex-husband Simon Konecki, revealed in February that she planned to have a second child in 2023. “But they just can’t wait,” says the source. “She’s hoping for a girl this time, but she’ll be thrilled no matter what. She’s never been happier.” ■
