Nicola Daniels nicola.daniels@inl.co.za FREDDIE Jantjies, 79, has died with a broken heart after trying for months to find his wife of 46 years, Lorraine, who went missing on Valentine’s Day.
Prior to his recent death, Jantjies lived in hope and tried his best to find her so that they could be reunited.
Despite an extensive search, she is still nowhere to be found and, along with that pain, Jantjies died of natural causes last week.
He had prostate cancer and had recently suffered a stroke.
Lorraine, who has Alzheimer’s, went missing in Genadendal on Valentine’s Day. Jantjies had gone to the clinic on that day to collect his chronic medication and when he returned, she was gone.
