Gnocchi with Mushrooms & Onion
Tender potato gnocchi is so delicious with sauteed mushrooms and onions. It is one of my family’s go-to side dishes.

1 pkg. (16 oz.) potato gnocchi½ lb. sliced fresh mushrooms¾ cup chopped sweet onion¼ cup butter, cubed¼ tsp. salt¼ tsp. Italian seasoning¼ tsp. crushed red pepper flakesGrated Parmesan cheese
1. Cook gnocchi according to the package directions. Meanwhile, in a large cast-iron skillet, saute mushrooms and onion in butter until tender.
2. Drain gnocchi. Add the gnocchi, salt, Italian seasoning and pepper flakes to the skillet; heat through. Sprinkle with cheese.
