As we close out 2022, it’s time to reflect on how busy it’s been. Recently, I was part of a panel discussion on YouTube hosted by TrainWorld. Also on the panel was our sage “Views from the Underground” columnist Lou Palumbo. One of the things we talked about was how there used to be a definitive “train season” starting in the fall, peaking during the holidays and winter, and closing when it got warm in the spring.
