The MASK mission is to engage and educate parents, children and the community about the issues facing our youth and to empower children to make safe, healthy choices. MASK fulfills its mission by engaging, educating and empowering families through the MASK E3 Institute, MASK The Magazineand our vastly informative website. HOLY MOLEY Although most moles tend to be benign, it is crucial to do regular mole checks of the entire body for both children and adults. A mole is simply a growth of clusters of pigmented cells, usually brown or pink in color, that often appear in childhood or adolescence. They typically appear round or oval in shape, are dome-like and around 5 millimeters in size. Moles are quite common. In fact, the average adult has anywhere from 10 to 40 moles on their body.
