One Eyeland announces world’s Top 10 Black &White Photographers 2018 One Eyeland has announced the winners of ‘TOP 10 Black & White Photographers 2018’ worldwide photo contest. An international jury of acclaimed photographers comprising of Astrid Verhoef (Netherlands), Howard Schatz (USA), Thiery Bornier (China), Lennette Newell (USA), Lisa Saad (Australia), Pedro Jarque Krebs (Peru), Rosario Civello (Italy), and Sharad Haksar (India), judged around 2000 entries and identified the winners in 24 categories ranging from abstract to wildlife. Photographers from 49 countries were awarded with 18 Gold medals, 79 Silver and146 Bronze. The Top 10 ‘Black & White’ photographers for 2018 adjudged in the competition are: (1). Nikon announces financial results ended on March 2018 Nikon Corp. announced its consolidated financial results for fiscal year 2017/18 that ended on 31st March 2018 with total revenue decreased 4.3% year-on-year to 717.0 billion yen. Due to restructuring costs, operating profits came to 56.2 billion yen from 774 million yen a year ago and net profit rose by 776.6% to 34.772 billion yen. In the Imaging Products Business, the revenue fell by 5.8% year-on-year due to an overall fall in unit sales for digital interchangeable-lens type cameras, but sales of the D850 were strong. For compact digital cameras, efforts were made on the sales of products such as Coolpix W300, but with the shrinking market, units sales fell significantly.
