Apple Walnut Bread Makes 2 (8x4-inch) loaves 3¾ cups sifted all-purpose flour, divided1 cup granulated sugar1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice2 teaspoons baking soda1½ teaspoons salt½ teaspoon baking powder1 cup whole milk½ cup vegetable oil4 large eggs1 tablespoon orange zest1½ cups diced peeled baking apple (about 2 medium apples)½ cup chopped walnuts 1.
