During the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey’s demolition of Texas, Paula Deen hosted an event to raise money to benefit the victims of the natural disaster. “As soon as I heard about the magnitude of damage caused by Hurricane Harvey, I had to find a way to help my friends in Texas,” Paula said. “My heart goes out to all the victims from this devastating storm, and I will do all I can to be there for them.” Paula immediately changed an event that was originally scheduled to celebrate the second season premiere of her television show, Positively Paula, to a fund-raiser. SNOWMAN CUPCAKES Makes 12 1 (9-ounce) box yellow cake mix* 1 large egg 1/2 cup cold water 1/8 teaspoon almond extract 1/4 cup butter, softened 2 ounces cream cheese, softened 31/2 cups confectioners’ sugar, sifted 2 teaspoons heavy whipping cream 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 12 marshmallows Colored piping gel* Fruit-flavored rolled candy sheets* 1. Preheat oven to 350°. Line 12 muffi n cups with foil liners. 2.
