Epic Escapes
Spring is finally here! One of the reasons this season uplifts us is because during Spring the Earth’s axis is at an angle in between our closest and furthest point from the sun. The temperatures become more moderate and we can say goodbye to the colder Winter months by enjoying the transition before a hot Summer kicks in. We are lucky to live in a state that doesn’t procure as much frigid weather as some others might—with more than 300 days of annual sunshine. Not to mention, sunlight is thought to increase the brain’s release of serotonin, which is associated with boosting our mood and other benefits.
