Belfast-born presenter Eamonn Holmes, 63, has been battling chronic back pain for some time. The GB News presenter, who had surgery to alleviate his symptoms, took to Instagram recently, sharing a photo of himself in a harness ‘learning to walk with purpose’. Some perturbed viewers of ITV chatshow Lorraine were left shaking their heads recently, as the bubbly Scot interviewed acting royalty, Dame Helen Mirren. During the video call, Helen opened up about a permanent injury she sustained on the set of her latest film, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, in which she plays a vengeful goddess. But viewers were quick to slam the chat as ‘embarrassing’ and ‘cringe’.
