Spring feeling
Right now, I am acutely attuned to any signs of spring – a froth of blossom peeking from the branches of a cherry tree, extra minutes of daylight squeezing themselves into each evening – anything that might suggest the change of seasons is imminent. I’m an enthusiast for the lighter, brighter months so spend a lot of time anticipating them, but the older I’ve become, the more in harmony I feel with nature anyway – its rhythms somehow slowing the passing of time, stopping me from thinking, ‘Where did the year go?’ and instead allowing me to remember it in all its different guises.
