IF YOU were to walk into our kitchen and look to your right, you would see a vinelike plant that has started to climb up the wall. It’s a humble little thing with glossy, heart-shaped leaves, but it caught us by surprise a few months ago when it began making its way up the shiplap, one board at a time. After years of being a wallflower, so to speak, it suddenly seemed to be stepping out of its small brown pot.
