Editor’s LETTER
As I write my first letter as editor-in-chief of Vogue Singapore, I reflect on the journey of putting this issue together. It has been one of immense self-discovery. I began my career in fashion at the age of 31 after paving my way as a graphic designer. The world of design and its subtleties intrigued me. Opening the door to fashion, however, was a second homecoming. I got swept up in all that made it: exploration, transgression, boldness and fearlessness, At my core, I thrived on the challenging ideologies and imagination. Today, I see these qualities come to life. Alongside Mumbai-based artist and creative director Varun Gupta, I have co-designed a series of three covers entirely created by artificial intelligence —a Vogue first.
