Dear Reader, I have reviewed over 20 different reports about PEBBLE BEACH car week and the accompanying auctions. Suffice to say that I am sorry I was not there. The accounts I read contain glowing analysis of each event and every car sold. Clearly “car sold at auction” and trophy recipients felt greatly rewarded. Those whose cars “no-sold” or did-not-place still enjoyed a wonderful time in Monterey, where the only negative was the occasional traffic jam… but at least you were in a car.
