A sciura, she’s dubbed, and the popular Instagram account @sciuraglam highlights her at her best, strolling through the city in a fur coat or sipping cocktails with equally chic friends. Gisele and ELLE go way back—as in, several decades. The first time we worked with her was for our March 1998 issue. Her name was G not even captioned; she was a gorgeous fresh face in an interior spread titled “Cityscape,” back in the minimalist Calvin Klein era. Not long after, in May 2000, she became an ELLE cover girl, and by then she was already a superstar.
