compact stars

Without doubt the Vintage Horticultural & Garden Machinery Working Day on Sunday 1 March was a very special occasion on the new site near Stanfield, Norfolk. It was full of excellent working classic compacts, which is the way the horticultural scene is going. It offers the chance to plough with a classic machine at a cheap price and they are easy to get about. editor’s welcome

Hi everyone, I write this in tragic times as our world has gone upside down, but no matter what, we must go on and get through this situation as best we can. Even in World War Two, Bill Body of Motor Sport kept it going each month – even though there was no motor sport taking place – so we must do the same, some 75 years later! One or two readers have been in touch with me about a couple of things. It sounded an interesting project, so an invitation to travel to Hyde in Cheshire in order to have a look at this conversion just couldn’t be missed. “The answer was to fit a new engine, but this was not to be a regular four-cylinder diesel engine” John has been assisted in this latest project by his…

mf service experience

On 30 January, 150 service staff representing Massey Ferguson Dealers from all over the United Kingdom and Ireland gathered at the Heart of England Conference and Event Centre near Birmingham, for a Massey Ferguson Service Experience. In the first event of its kind, Service Technicians were able to receive the latest product updates and service information from the UK Massey Ferguson service team and AGCO product experts. The format involved groups of 20 technicians rotating around several workstations, with product and parts displays available, along with presentations on the latest Massey Ferguson innovations. Michael Butland, Massey Ferguson Field Service Manager said: “We wanted to deliver the latest service information to Technicians, who are the key interface between our product and our customers. It’s important that they are up to speed with the…
