SHOP TALK Diana appears on TV several times a month to sell her hair accessory line that goes well with special hair and makeup—“the routine similar to what you would do for date night or a party,” she says. MAKEUP Wear layers to keep your skin looking flawless. Diana applies primer, foundation, and concealer then sets it with a loose translucent powder. HAIR “I use dry texturizer spray to pump up my pony and hold the style,” she says. Another trick: Spray it on your palms then lightly smooth down flyaways. The Look: NATURAL You can quickly groom thick brows or create a full, feathery effect with a tinted brow gel. The wand applicator is great for beginners: One or two swipes coat individual hairs, adding both definition and volume. Its tint conceals grays and accentuates pale hairs, too, says Jaimineey Patel, head of training at Blink Brow Bar in London. And because gel formulas provide hold, you can keep any unruly hairs in place. The Look: DEFINED With a brow pencil, you can draw precise, realistic-looking hairs to shape brows and fill patchy spots. “If you want darker brows, apply more pressure when using a pencil,” says Sania Vucetaj, brow expert and founder of Sania’s Brow Bar in New York City. “To soften the look, brush through with a spoolie brush.” Brow powder…

Layering different textures and tones is the secret to making this duo feel livable and effortless. INSTANT CLASSIC Michigan-based editor and creative consultant Michelle Adams is known for her ability to spot trends, but at home she favors longevity. “I don’t want to have to keep redesigning,” she says. “Black and white is timeless.” Her tricks to getting it right: CLASH CONSISTENTLY Different warm and cool tones of white and black will creep into a room. Embrace it. A warm white in a cool white room could look like a mistake, but if you repeat the color, the mix…
