In a wholly unexpected move, legendary high-end British mixing console manufacturers and software developers SSL have released a pair of audio interfaces aimed squarely at the affordable end of the home studio market, and trumpeted rather hyperbolically as “more than just an audio interface… the centre of your new Solid State Logic studio”. cm Tell us about the history of Emvoice. RO “Emvoice started in 2016 – I’d just moved to Thailand. I was working on a track and needed vocals for it, and there was no simple way to create vocals with plugins then, so my idea was to build a technology that makes creating vocals as simple as creating a drum track, or a symphonic strings track.
