live boldly…

Add a little flirtation to timeless sophistication, live in the moment by being unapologetically confident and indulge in sensual luxury. Make a statement by choosing between Love That Red™, Love That Velvet™ and Love that Shimmer™. A woman is capable of feeling a broad range of emotions, which affects how she shows love. So why should she limit herself to one form of expression? Revlon’s new Love That EDT collection allows you to choose a fragrance that suits both your current mood and the occasion. Love That Red™ is the signature fragrance that captures the essence of romance and timeless sophistication, with lingering oriental notes of classic flowers and sandalwood. Love that Shimmer™ has a mood of confident energy, expressed with fresh and floral notes, underscored by sensual woods. Love that Velvet™ is all about sensual…

women to watch

In 1984, our 2018 GlamourWomen Of The Year award winner Doreen Morris became the first black woman on mainstream South African television. She paved the way for journalists and broadcasters, and today, the picture looks so much better. We’re seeing more diversity on the small screen and ground-breaking TV characters who have shaped how women are seen. what’s on our fashion radar?

the iconic characters you almost never noticed

There must be over a thousand articles and Instagram accounts documenting the most impeccable TV and film character’s styles with admiration. I bet you’re picturing that pink tutu worn by Carrie Bradshaw, Cher Horowitz’s yellow plaid co-ord, Olivia Pope in her structured trench coat, Vivian Ward in those (on trend right now) patent thigh-highs – you get where I’m going with this. There are so many looks and stylish moments that female protagonists adorn, but what about the sidekicks? The best friends? Or even the villains? I found it rather difficult to find any research or articles that looked at the less obvious characters in film and TV, and how their style is, in fact, as historical as that of the main characters. Better yet, how relevant their style is today. So,…
