Welcome to the 15th anniversary of the BONS Issue! What a year we have had. I first want to acknowledge all those in our community who have passed, and those who have lost a loved one due to COVID-19. We are saddened by your loss and wish you peace and healing. During the past five months, I have witnessed many amazing acts of kindness. I am so grateful to live in a community where so many have rallied to help neighbors through one of the most difficult times. Hi Nancy, We loved your latest edition of Northshore “Coastal” Treasures [May 2020], and we were incredibly moved by the kindness and generosity of so many small businesses in the North Shore. While restrictions are being lifted and businesses are struggling to find a new “normal,” the event/hospitality industry is still in a state of flux. It has been both challenging and disappointing for brides and grooms who have had to postpone their wedding date, not to mention trying to reschedule their venue along with their original team of vendors for the proposed future date. We have been dealing with many relevant issues and challenges associated with these changes, inclusive of updated clauses in contracts to protect all parties involved.
