LYRIC THEATRE
You’ll find the actual theatre in busy King Street in Carmarthen town centre, and it’s a beauty, with wonderful mosaics and art deco designs in green, red and gold, theatrausirgar.co.uk. The Lyric was actually used for filming and, not surprisingly, Save the Cinema was booked out for its recent run there. Forthcoming attractions include Carmarthen Youth Opera in Grease, 24-26 Feb; Curtis Stigers, 20 Mar; Barbara Dickson 25 Mar; and Treorchy Male Choir, 26 Mar.
