Almost nothing encapsulates the gas-guzzling thrill of mid-20th century motoring like the Ford Mustang, a design icon that surely must be many petrolheads’ dream wheels. Well now you can drive one without the guilt: Aviar is updating the classic muscle car for the 2020s by combining its classic lines and raw power with an electric engine. Built on the Tesla Model S platform and scheduled for production in 2021, the R67 has an all-carbon-fibre body inspired by the classic 1967 Mustang fastback while its electric engine will be able to top 155mph and accelerate from 0-60mph in 2.2 seconds.
