APOLLO IE

The Apollo Intenza Emozione is a car that is worth the wait. Years of patience and excitement have culminated in a vehicle that is being produced with HWA AG, a legendary name in GT1 and motorsports in general, in the same facility as the mythological Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR. Through its pursuit for innovation, speed and the ultimate driving experience, the Apollo IE can be thought of as the CLK GTR’s spiritual successor. The 6.3-liter V12 gives the IE 791 horsepower and 561 pound-foot of torque, and that sends the carbon fiber monocoque body to 60 miles per hour in 2.7 seconds. Apollo has decided to go back to the basics with this monster of a machine, which is why the IE is driven by a six-speed racing gearbox and the vehicle weighs in at well under 3,000 pounds. The car has gone through round after round of testing and has been in development for around two years. Saying that the Apollo IE is a modern day GT1 car is almost an understatement because Apollo has worked to innovate and push the car even further than its predecessors in performance, innovation and design to produce a vehicle that is truly something to behold. Take for example, the IE’s fuel system, which is integrated into the carbon fiber monocoque body, making the IE the first vehicle to do so. These statistics make the Apollo IE seem very capable of living up to the massive anticipation that has been building up, and for $2.7 million, you can take part in making history.
