Google Analytics data shows the website attracted 125,928 unique visitors (UV) in the month – the highest level since it was launched in 2013. The April number was 32.5 per cent up on March and almost six per cent up on April 2019. Kicking off with the April issue, Bauer Media Group is now offering Farms & Farm Machinery’s 5,700 magazine and e-newsletter subscribers a complimentary digital copy of the market-leading print title. This is on top of the 9,500-plus copies of the print magazine that continue to be distributed through newsagencies, service stations, and industry partners such as the Western Australia Farmers Federation (see separate story on this page). Valtra will no longer distribute the T144 model tractor in Australia and New Zealand as it responds to Stage V emissions regulations coming into force in Europe. But the Agco brand will introduce new models – the Tier 3 (non SCR) T154, T174E, T194 and T234 models with Powershift transmissions, each of which have either a 6.6L of 7.4L sixcylinder engine. A new disc mower and mower conditioner has joined the range of hay tools distributed by New Holland – which it says can cater for almost everyone. The front-mounted DiscCutter mower conditioner is available in 3.11m and 3.52m versions and comes with what New Holland says is advanced contour floation technology, allowing it to follow the ground for even mowing performance. “This technology can compensate for side inclinations of up to 12 degrees and vertical inclinations of up to 55cm,” New Holland says. “And with the cutting unit suspended in a trapeze-system, the cutting unit leans back once it is moved backwards – making it ideal when working in hilly or mountainous pastures, ensuring an even cut and a minimum of soil contamination.” The front-mounted versions of both the DiscCutter and the DuraDisc mower…
