for a laugh

My wife said she was leaving me because of my obsession with wearing different clothes every half an hour. I said, “Wait, I can change.” My job is to drill holes in things and then bolt them together. At first it’s boring, but later on, it’s riveting. I didn’t eat anything other than brown bread for dinner. That was my wholemeal. I saw a Korean martial artist holding out a basket of donuts. When I asked if I could take two, he said no. I said, “Can I at least Taekwondo?” My girlfriend said to me last night, “You treat our relationship like some kind of game!” Which unfortunately cost her 12 points and a bonus chance. A lot of people were confused at the grand opening ceremony of my ribbon-repair business yesterday! Two years ago…

have i got ‘friends with benefits’ all wrong?

It doesn’t take the bonce of Professor Brian Cox to work out why, according to a recent poll, a whopping one third of all under-forties enjoy casual sex with a friend. Experimental, exciting and damn good naked fumbles with a girl you like, without the ‘in a relationship’ spats about leaving your damp towel on the bed again? It sounds like the stuff dreams are made of. Sexy, sexy dreams. But before you run headfirst into your phonebook and dial up your hottest girl mate for a touch of the good stuff, know this – there’s a whole load of unwritten laws you must abide by to make it work, all of which are there to stop the both of you ending up loved-up emotional wrecks. We’ll let three of FHM’s beautiful…

“what do you mean i’m funny?”

We here at FHM don’t take the phrase ‘dream woman’ lightly, but Melanie Iglesias might just tick every box. The Brooklynite loves dogs, pizza and stand-up comedy; is a self-proclaimed potty mouth; could pull your pants down in a poker game, and is a fan of basically every sport. Oh, and did we mention she is lung-judderingly beautiful? So much so, that we couldn’t resist getting her back in the mag, two years since our first shoot together. After stealing our hearts the first time around on the World Poker Tour series and MTV’s Guy Code, along with no shortage of underpant selfies on Twitter and Instagram, our Mel’s now swapped New York for California and is primed to take over our worlds all over again. So we hopped on Skype…

the no-messing frying-pan pizza

DJ BBQ SAYS… “If I had my way, I’d wear pizza like a warming poncho. I’d bathe in its molten cheesiness. I’d introduce its name into the English vocabulary to mean ‘rad, awesome, brilliant’ and use it in everyday conversation. ‘Hey, DJ BBQ, how was your weekend?” “Man, it was pizza! The weather was pizza!” I’m an inch away from shedding a tiny tear as I write this, thinking about a pizzaless world. “Luckily, that can never happen. With this recipe, pizza is always right around the corner with this assemble-on-the-hob circle of radonkulousness. OK, so you’ve gotta plan ahead a bit to get the fresh dough ready, but that’s the hard part. After that, you’re seconds from greatness on a plate. These are my favourite toppings, but you know the score:…

gin is in

It’s everywhere! From upmarket clubs to trendy cocktail lounges it’s hard not to notice how popular gin has become. The selection of available gins on the shelves of local liquor stores is increasing as demand for the white spirit with the palpable dry aftertaste continues to grow. This 2019, as the trend continues to surge, the everyday gin enthusiast has much to look forward to as distillers refine their formulas infusing gin with new and incredible flavours. We’ve put together a few incredible cocktails inspired by award-winning Monks gin which is handcrafted and double-distilled in small batches resulting in a truly magnificent gin. Monkarita 50ml Monks Mysterium50ml lime juice37.5ml Mysterium syrup*1.5 cups of ice Put all ingredients in a blender (NutriBullet if you can) and blend for 10-20 seconds depending on how you like…
