BEATING the enemy
This is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and you may be wondering why, as a man, I’m choosing to write about this. Well, since men have breast tissue, they too can get breast cancer. However, it’s rare that they do, with only one in 1,000 ever being diagnosed.
The fear for women and, therefore, any of us who have a woman in our lives – whether a child, a sister, a mother, an aunt, a grandmother, a cousin, a friend or a work colleague – is obviously much more heightened.
