An affidavit submitted by Warrant Officer Kumaran Pillay, the detective overseeing the investigation into the murders of Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his friend, chef Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane, has revealed that the five accused were present at the crime scene, and the vehicle and firearms used were traced back to them.
Lindani Ndimande, 35, Lindokuhle Ndimande, 29, Siyanda Myeza, 21, Mziwethemba Gwabeni, 36, and Lindokuhle Mkhwanazi, 30, face 10 charges, including two counts of murder, five of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, possession of unlawful firearms and possession of unlawful ammunition.
The State was yesterday presenting its opposition to bail for the accused, who had detailed their circumstances in affidavits to the court last week. All five said they intended to plead not guilty.
