More than two months after Tiger Woods was arrested in Jupiter, Fla., for DUI, he has taken the first step to clear his record. On Aug. 9 the 41-year-old former golfing phenom pleaded not guilty but agreed to enter a DUI diversion program next month. The program will allow Woods to serve a year of probation and require him to plead guilty to a lesser reckless-driving charge, which he can later have expunged. Woods was arrested shortly after 3 a.m. on May 29 when an officer found him asleep at the wheel of his Mercedes. Woods blew a zero on a Breathalyzer but told officers that he had used several pain medications. His next court appearance is Oct. 25.
