maui wowie! katy & selena’s red-hot romp

They may be thousands of miles apart, but Katy Perry and Selena Gomez both channelled their inner Baywatch in the sun last week. Katy, 34, donned a red-hot one-piece swimsuit with flowers – plus one in her hair too – for a sizzling new video shoot. And while she is a self-confessed “California Gurl”, it was Hawaii where Katy was spied dipping her toes in the ocean. The saucy singer, who got engaged to actor Orlando Bloom on Valentine’s Day, is currently taking a break from touring so she can focus on creating music. While the details are kept under wraps for now, based on these pics, we’re sure it will be smokin’ hot! Meanwhile, Selena, 26, took inspiration from ’90s pin-up Pamela Anderson as she emerged from the water with her hair…

editor’s note

New Zealand is a beautiful country to call home. I love our spectacular landscapes – the mountains, rivers and sea – as well as our laidback lifestyle and down-to-earth people. I came back home from overseas to raise my kids as Kiwis and there’s no place I’d rather be. But we have serious social problems hidden in our society – statistics that clearly show all is not well in Aotearoa. Why do so many of our people take their own lives? Our youth suicide rates are the worst in the developed world and our annual suicide rates are at an all-time high – and climbing. In 2017/18, there were a staggering 668 deaths by suicide in NZ. It’s a devastating reality – more Kiwis die by their own hand every year than…

the queen is not amused! meghan’s vip-only christening

For a regal baby, their christening is usually a grand occasion, not only for members of the monarchy, family and friends to celebrate the new arrival, but also a chance for royal fans around the world to coo over Their Royal Cuteness. Traditionally, the royal couple allows select photographers to capture the event, letting gorgeous images of the little one be beamed globally. So when it was revealed last week that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would instead be hosting a private affair to christen two-month-old Archie in the Queen’s chapel at Windsor Castle for just 25 guests and no press, it certainly ruffled feathers through Great Britain and beyond. Not only would fans miss out seeing the procession into the event, but Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, announced they’d only…

archie in africa

The royal rebels are returning to Africa where their love first blossomed – and this time baby Archie is coming too! Harry and Meghan confirmed their much-rumoured trip last week, noting that it would “be their first official tour as a family”. The trio will visit South Africa in October, while Harry will continue solo to Malawi, Angola and Botswana. A royal insider reveals that Archie will likely only be present for safer parts of the trip and the couple are taking things seriously “to make sure that Archie remains safe and happy throughout”.…
