WEDNESDAY, MARCH 25 INTERNATIONAL WAFFLE DAY Wow with waffles! Turn waffles into an extra sweet treat with this simple recipe from the pros in the Woman’s World test kitchen. To make: Whisk together 2 eggs, 11⁄2 cups of milk, 1⁄2 cup of melted unsalted butter and 1 tsp. of vanilla extract. In bowl, mix 11⁄2 cups of flour, 3 Tbs. of sugar, 1 Tbs. of baking powder and 1⁄4 tsp. of salt. Make a well in the center of dry ingredients; pour in egg mixture. Whisk until smooth. Ladle batter into preheated waffle maker. Cook until crisp, 3–4 minutes. Top with chocolate ice cream, Nutella and strawberries.
