SCARF DAY On Scarf Day, all you are allowed to wear are… scarves! Wrap them around your legs, body and head to give you a special scarf-alicious outfit. ARTY TWIGS Pick up some twigs from a nearby park. Get some colourful wool and wrap it around the twigs to make them the most valuable piece of art ever created. SOUND DIARY Using a smartphone or any recording device, make a diary of interesting sounds you hear during the day. Play them back to your family members and have them guess what they are. BAGEL PIZZA Make a tiny pizza by cutting a bagel in half, covering it in tomato sauce, some grated cheese, a couple of black olives and grilling it in the oven for 10 minutes. Yummy. A STORY…

What you'll need: • 4 potatoes• 1 teaspoon salt• 1 teaspoon pepper• 1 egg• 200g all-purpose flour (1½ cups)• 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil• Basil leaves Take a large pan, fill it with water and bring it to the boil. Peel the four potatoes and cook them in the boiling water for 25 minutes, until they're soft. Put the potatoes into a bowl and mash them until there are no lumps. Make a well in the centre of the mash and crack the egg into it. Add salt & pepper. Add the flour to the mashed potato and mix well together until it is like a dough. No lumps, please!
