WHILE Peugeot is readying an all-new e-3008, it hasn’t forgotten about its existing products, and is gearing up to launch a facelifted version of the 2008 small SUV. Our spy shots show the camouflaged rear end of a development car, pointing towards a revised tail-light set-up for the new 2008 that’s more in keeping with the latest 308 and 408 models, as well as the upcoming e-3008 previewed in our exclusive images. There will be some big changes underneath, too, with petrol 2008s set to adopt 48v mild-hybrid tech. This will be added to 98bhp and 134bhp versions of the 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbocharged powertrain, and both engines will feature a six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
