RESTAURANT-QUALITY FOOD YOU CAN CREATE AT HOME
BAO LONDON is the latest in a long line of cult capital restaurants to announce that it is releasing a book. This one is simply titled BAO (Phaidon, £29.95) and will be available to purchase from March 2. The small chain, which has three restaurants (in Soho, Borough and King’s Cross) and a noodle shop (in Shoreditch)—quite the climb from humble market stall—is revered for its fluffy bao buns. The book promises to reveal the recipes behind the much-loved sticky-pork-belly buns, broths and noodles, all interspersed with personal stories from the chain’s co-founders.
