Bradley Chance Hays is a man earnestly following several dreams at once. As both a cowboy and an artist, he was almost destined to wear at least a couple of hats. Born in Oklahoma to an art teacher mother and a rodeo cowboy father, Hays took up calf roping and competing in rodeos, but making art was his second nature. He attended Oklahoma Panhandle State University to compete in college rodeo and then headed to Oklahoma State University to finish his degree in art. Later he received a master’s degree in fine arts at West Texas A&M University.
