Blackbird Male blackbirds have black feathers, but the females have brown feathers. Both have an orange beak. Toucan A toucans beak is huge. They use them to dig for food or fight with other birds. Parrot Parrots are very clever as they can learn and repeat words, just like humans! happy & grumpy take a train

Happy was in a good mood today. Grumpy, not so much. Happy had asked Grumpy to meet up at Mehville’s train station for a fun day out. They were going on a train ride around the countryside! Happy was excited because trains were fun to ride on. Grumpy wondered whether there was such thing as ‘train sickness.’ Happy loved spotting sheep and cows in the fields. Grumpy was just sleepy. BREAD Bread comes in many different shapes and sizes, as well as flavours. Bread is made of flour and water. Flour comes from wheat. Bread has been made and eaten for hundreds and hundreds of years. Pre-historic people ate bread. Ancient Egyptians ate bread. Romans ate bread. We eat bread. Maybe aliens eat bread too? Bread can be shaped into small buns, big loaves, or fried like tortillas. You will need: Break the eggs in a deep dish. Add the milk and beat it all together. Dip each slice of bread into the mixture. In the frying pan, add a knob of butter. Place one milky slice of bread into the pan. Let it cook for about 2 minutes until it is golden brown, and then turn it over using a spatula.
