IVANKA TRUMP’S SUPPORT OF UNCONSTITUTIONAL RED FLAG LAWS: A RED FLAG TO GUN OWNERS Ivanka 08/26/19 “After failing to ban rifles with frightening features, Democrats shift their attention to Red Flag laws.” – Source: NY Times. With the rising number of highly televised mass-shootings in the last few years, many politicians and members of the media have proposed dozens of overly-simplistic solutions to this increasingly complicated problem. The overwhelming majority of these solutions are shallow attempts at virtue-signaling. Others are naively simple, or outright ignore data on these shootings, like introducing a new Assault Weapons ban, despite FBI data demonstrating that doing so has no effect on crime. But even if gun-grabbers decided to ban all rifles, and had some way of instantly doing so, it would only reduce violent crime by 0.021%. FBI Homicide…

an alaska float hunt with the finest from ruger and daniel defense

When Autumn arrives on America’s Last Frontier, it is swift, dramatic, and fleeting. It paints the mountain sides red and yellow with changing foliage, tints the night skies with the mesmerizing, luminescent, and other-worldly radiance of the Aurora Borealis, and greets early wakers with sparkly, sun-catching frost on the alder and willow. These harbingers of the rapidly approaching Alaskan winter are also a call to scores of Alaskan men and women to begin gearing up for some serious “grocery shopping.” GUNS, GUTS, AND GROCERIES: A SHORT GUIDE TO FILLING YOUR FRIDGE ON THE LAST FRONTIER! Unlike our friends and family residing in the distant “lower 48,” occupied with clipping and amassing a ‘War and Peace’ sized collection of coupons or agonizing over what DVD will be the most effective at keeping the…

the brn-180 upper from brownells with a custom ar-180-type lower

The BRN obviously stands for Brownells but let’s take a step back in time to see where the 180 in the name came from. The ArmaLite AR-180 was the civilian semi-automatic version of the AR-18. The AR-18 was an attempt to grab some market share for ArmaLite after they sold the rights to a previous design you might have heard of, the M16. ArmaLite could not use any of the technology that was in the patents they sold to Colt so they decided to start from scratch. Well, almost from scratch. The AR-18 was based on the AR-16. The AR-16 was a 7.62x51 select fire rifle designed by Eugene Stoner before he left Armalite. It featured a short stroke gas piston and operating rod, a rotating multi-lug bolt, and was constructed…

america’s lying and ignorance crisis – fueled by the media

(September 3, 2019) In the midst of an epidemic of emotion and disinformation, the “left” wants to have a national discussion about “gun violence.” But they have a couple of ground-rules: Only one side gets to talk, and that side gets to make up their own “facts.” In a guest editorial by Marianne Williamson in the Washington Post, the Democratic candidate for president took advantage of all of the popular canards and buzz-words, as she laid out her solution for “America’s epidemic of violence.” Williamson is my absolute favorite among the crowded field of truly bizarre Democratic candidates. She’s a latter day hippy and High Priestess of the Church of Spiritual Self-Enlightenment and Warm-Fuzziness. In the article she shares her “peace-based” wisdom, discussing America’s “gun crisis,” which she says is just…

red flag laws

When 61-year-old Gary Willis of Ferndale, Md., went to answer a 5 a.m. knock at his door, he took his handgun with him, just as many of us would likely have done in the same situation. Afterall, what could anyone want with him so early in the morning when it was still pitch dark outside? A few minutes later, Willis lay dead on the floor, shot by officers who said Willis had set his gun down on a table beside the door, but then became irate, picked it up again and fired a shot. Consequently, they said, they had no recourse but to shoot Willis to protect themselves. What was Willis’ alleged crime? Surely, he must have been suspected of murder for such an early-morning surprise visit. Or, at the very least,…
