Much of gardening thrives on the enthusiasm of the enthusiast – the specialist nursery focusing solely on a particular genus or grouping of plants; a grower in their garden who can't resist adding to their particular collection. Or the designers whose passions for better spatial planning and planting gives rise to some remarkable gardens that are a joy to experience. This issue we celebrate such enthusiasms.
