letterstohello@gmail.com MADAME TUSSAUDS IN PRINT I could not draw a better analogy than terming HELLO’s Style Special as the print version of Madame Tussauds. Because after passing through so many stylish people who have carved a niche for themselves in their respective fields I concluded that HELLO! deserves as high a pedestal as Madame Tussauds enjoys worldwide! From the cover diva Kareena Kapoor Khan, the tone was perfectly set and, as always, HELLO! obliged with a great content mix. It was cool to have the stylish people in homogeneous groups. Whereas the ‘H-List’ carried all the ‘Head-Turners’ of the current times right from Anushka-to-Akash and Ranbir-to-Ranveer and Navya Naveli-to-Kohli, the other domain-lists connected with every reader beautifully. Be it ‘Most Stylish Family’ (Farah-Sonam-Susanne-Malaika) or Siblings (Siddharth-Samarth) or Entrepreneur (Iman) or Mother & Daughter…

“Love is never a professional byproduct for me, it’s not rooted in social media. My idea of love is very, very transparent. I believe in fairytales – says Aditi Rao Hydari, in our cover story” We are, once again, all set to pull out all those Indian ensembles which have been tucked away, only for special occasions. The wedding season is on, and the buzz about who will wear what is already doing the rounds. This has also been a year of many big celeb weddings and engagements, and some of India’s most eligible – Sonam Kapoor, Akash Ambani, Isha Ambani, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone – have all got into commitment mode and are stepping into their new lives. And for us as Indians, weddings are the most important celebrations. Our parents…

ROHAN SHRESTHA A case of the apple not falling far from the tree, Rohan got an intimate glimpse into the joys of photography from his father Rakesh Shrestha. While still in college, he also apprenticed with other prominent photographers, honing his skills. For HELLO!’s cover story this month, Rohan captured the boho-beauty Aditi Rao Hydari against the sylvan, pristine purity of the Maldives. “Aditi is lovely, it was an honour for me to work with make-up artist Deepa Verma for the first time, and the JADE garments are close to my heart. The Maldives cast a spell on us all, I loved the overcast conditions, they translated into dream-like images.” ABHEET GIDWANI Want to see the less obvious synergies around you? That is Abheet Gidwani’s strength. His tryst with photography is closely linked…
